At our practice, you are truly in good hands with Scott E. McDermott, MD, FAAOS--a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. Fellowship training means Dr. McDermott completed an additional year of intensive training focused exclusively on joint replacement, mastering the latest advancements including partial knee replacement, customizable implants, robotic-assisted surgery, and direct anterior approach to hip replacement.

Whether you're visiting the office to explore treatment options, receive injections, begin physical therapy, or undergo complex revision surgery, Dr. McDermott and his dedicated team are with you every step of the way. From your first consultation to your final follow-up, we are committed to providing personalized, compassionate care and guiding you through every stage of your journey to recovery.

We have multiple locations throughout the Summerville, Goose Creek, Moncks Corner, and North Charleston areas, making it easy and convenient for our patients to access the care they need. Each of our offices is equipped with on-site X-ray technology, durable medical equipment (DME), and many offer on-site physical therapy and laboratory services for a comprehensive care experience. All of our staff is dedicated to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment.
